DANESES VON FERDEN
Dogs
have always been my family’s favorite pet and we have always been surrounded
and accompanied by them. My older son
Sebastian, lighted our passion for Great Danes in 19990. After
years of insisting on having a great dane, which he has always admired for there
size, force, majesticity and nobility, we gave him Kusana for his birthday, our
first great dane and our dedicated pet.
Afterwards,
we incorporated Thor and Hilary. All of them filled our lives with happiness and
marked the starting point of our great passion over 12 years ago.
The name of the my kennel
FERDEN
emerged from the combination of my last name
FERreria and of my sons
DENiz.
This
is how, in the search for the creation of the danes of our dreams, the selection
and study of bloodlines from the
the foundation of the construction
of our bloodlines: Lori and Tim Keefe from the American breeder Leatrick.
Our
selection was based on bloodlines that gathered best American combinations and
that had what we most admired from the german lines: bone and muscle.
Beside
the greatness in Beauty and Structure from the Riverwood, BMW and their
variations GMJ and Michaeldane bloodlines, Leatricks had what we most
appreciated: Type and Temper.
We
imported 2 specimens: Leatricks Zorba and Leatricks Madison, started the breed
with Leatricks danes and from there we selected and incorporated Leatricks Sara
Von Ferden and Leatricks Krauss Von Ferden..
Laura
Kiaulenas from the breeder BMW, honored us by giving us our wonderful BMW Wanda.
Our
dreams did not delay in becoming reality.
Among
all our dogs, we cannot leave out any Von Ferden that, working behind the
curtains, breede for us:
Sara,
Wanda, Sabrina, Siembra
And
the ones that represented us in the shows:
Forever
Madison, Forever Joshua, Fiesta
Friends,
Breeders, Handlers, my Parents, my Sons, everyone of them have contributed in
the construction of Von Ferden, and they are who day after day help continue
this great undertaking…
The
road is long and the duty difficult, there are hard times, nervousness and
sadness, and there are the wonderful moments of each birth, of each prize, of
each lick and of each celebration.
That’s
why we always say: They deserve each day of our effort… And it is certainly
worth the struggle…
